Jim Morgan

President

About Jim

Jim Morgan is the President and CEO of Worcester Air Conditioning. Jim bought Worcester Air with partners in 2008. Prior to his ownership of WAC Jim ran several venture capital and private equity backed firms in the food, beverage, manufacturing and publishing industries.

Jim led the growth of Worcester Air from a small company to a respected local construction leader with greater than $50 million in revenue. Worcester works on some of the largest and most complex HVAC projects in New England.

Jim earned a degree in Government from Dartmouth College in 1982. He is a member of and former Board member of SMACNA, the international sheet metal contractors’ association. Jim also served as president of the local Boston SMACNA contractors’ association and currently serves as a contractor trustee of the Local # 17 Joint Apprenticeship Training Council. He is also a member and former board member of the New England chapter of the Young Presidents Organization.

Jonathan Lewis

Vice President of Operations

About Jonathan

Jon Lewis serves as Vice President of Operations for Worcester Air Conditioning. Jon has twelve years’ experience in the HVAC construction industry with Worcester Air and for three years led complex lab MEP projects with a focus on MEPF systems for general contractor The Cardinal Group.

Jon earned a B. S. in Construction Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 2015.

Steve Perrone

Vice President of Business Development

About Steve

Steve Perrone is the Vice President of Business Development at Worcester Air Conditioning. Steve has over 40 years’ experience in both the wet and dry side HVAC construction in the Boston market. Formerly President of Harrington Brothers, Steve has worked for WAC since 2018, focusing on Design/Build and Design/Assist projects with a concentration on complex hospital work.

Widely respected for his creative problem-solving skills, Steve earned his B.S. in mechanical engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Chris Layden

Controller

About Chris

Chris Layden is the Controller for Worcester Air Conditioning, leading the financial and administrative operations since 2008. Chris came to Worcester Air with 15 years of contract accounting experience, including 12 years at Shooshanian Engineering.

Chris earned his undergraduate degree in accounting at Westfield State University and an MBA from Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business.

Craig Grasseschi

Chief Estimator

About Craig

Craig Grasseschi is the Vice President of Estimating, leading the estimating team at Worcester Air Conditioning. He currently balances his role leading estimating and running certain projects as a Project Manager.

Craig has been with the company since 1991, after graduating from Wentworth Institute of Technology with a degree in Construction Management. He started as a takeoff estimator and has been involved in every aspect of the company over the past 34 years.

Craig is currently a member of the SMACNA Boston political action committee (PAC).

Rich Killilea

About Rich

Rich Killilea is currently the BIM Manager at Worcester Air, leading the Planning Department. Rich has a deep understanding of reviewing projects, 3D models, drawings, details and communication. Rich has been a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local 17 for over 31 years.

Corey Delahunty has been with Worcester Air since 2009, as an apprentice and draftsman before being promoted to project manager in 2022. Corey graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology with an Associate’s in Engineering in Applied Science and Bachelors in Project Management.

Michael DeJesus has been an estimator at Worcester Air Conditioning since joining the company in 2019. Prior to his current tenure, he worked his way up from being a pipefitter/sheet metal worker to an estimator at a mechanical contractor in western Massachusetts.
